welcome to the next chapter

so here you are, wide eyed, buzzing with excitement with a world full of possibilities at your fingertips. so here you are, ready to start a journey that you have been waiting for forever, the beginning of a big bright future. the beginning of a vibrant life. there is a story God is writing in you and through you during this time and every day is another page. i cant tell you for certain that during this time there will be dark days, but i promise that the bright days between will eclipse them. there will be days of isolation, but i promise a community is being orchestrated around you, God does not intend for you to walk alone. there will be lonely days, but a year from now as you soak in the life that you have built on a firm foundation, the lonely days will be a distant memory. there will be days where you question. where you know that it would be easier to walk another road, and honestly, it would be, but that not where you have been called. you have been called to the straight and narrow, the road to abundant life. you have been called to seek and wholeheartedly pursue all that Jesus is, and to me, the dark days, the hard days, the lonely days and the days of questioning can be counted as good days. they are good days because in those moments i am becoming more of who i have designed to be, a woman who desperately needs something bigger than myself. a woman who needs a constant companion, a woman who needs comfort, a woman who relies on Jesus from sunrise to sunset, and if this bumpy road leads me to that place of surrender, then it is fine by me.
